How to Turn a Figma Frame into a Mockup
Put a frame from your Figma file onto a mockup, then add the finished mockup back to your canvas.
Here’s How It Works
- Open the plugin and pick a tab: Mockups, Video Mockups, 3D Mockups, or AI Studio.
- Select one frame, group or image on your canvas. Mockey uses it as your design. Or click “Select/Upload” to upload an image instead.
- Click a mockup template to open it in the editor.
- Adjust your design with tools like Color, Warping and Place Anywhere.
- Click “Export”, then choose a format and size.
- Your mockup is added to the canvas as a new image.
Free Plan Limits
- Free accounts can export 3 mockups a day as JPG at the smallest size. The plugin footer shows how many exports you have left.
- The daily limit is shared with mockey.ai.
- PNG, larger sizes and PRO mockups need a paid plan. Click “Upgrade” in the plugin to see plans.
- AI tools, like Multi Shot, Photoshoot and Animate, use credits.
Good to Know
- Video mockups and AI Studio results are downloaded as files instead of being added to the canvas.
- Uploaded designs last until you close the plugin.
