This article will cover the better generative AI tool in Google Gemini vs ChatGPT.

On Wednesday, Google launched a new chatbot, which could potentially rival or surpass OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Gemini, a powerful language model, will now be accessible in English across 170+ countries, including India.

Gemini can analyze audio and images, but those features will be available in Bard at a later date.

Demis Hassabis, the leader of Google DeepMind, emphasized that Gemini excels in non-text interactions. Google demonstrated parents using the tool to check their kids' homework and Mark Rober (YouTuber) using it to improve his paper airplane designs with AI feedback.

Google chose promotional videos over a demo for the launch, unlike when introducing Bard. The demo caused disagreement because the chatbot had a hallucination during a Google CEO presentation.

Bard is built on Gemini Pro, one of three versions of Gemini. Bard is like a sibling to ChatGPT, both using the GPT model, which is a slightly more limited version of GPT-4. With ChatGPT Plus, you get the advanced features of GPT-4.
